Philip Rainey, O.D.
Dr. Philip Rainey is inquisitive, pragmatic, and conscientious. He enjoys learning about patients’ lives and livelihoods in order to ensure their vision performs perfectly in their circumstances.
His professional interests revolve around contact lenses, technology in optometry, and ocular disease diagnosis and management.
He has been practicing for more than 10 years and is happy to call the Treasure Valley home with his wonderful wife Katherine and their four children. Dr. Rainey is excited to provide the people of Meridian with high quality patient care and optical services.
Kim Johnson, O.D.
Dr. Kim Johnson graduated from UCLA, then went on to obtain her Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern California College of Optometry. She has been in practice for over 15 years and enjoys building relationships with patients while helping them with their eyecare needs. She loves practicing optometry and is excited to share new technologies and treatments with her patients, especially in the areas of dry eye, contact lenses, and myopia control.
When not at the office, Dr. Johnson enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters. She loves doing home improvement projects around the house and yard and is pretty much always working on something!
Amber Simonson, O.D.
Dr. Amber Simonson has been practicing in the Treasure Valley since 1999. She attended Boise State University for her undergraduate degree and completed her doctorate at Pacific University College of Optometry. She has a passion for helping patients with their eyecare needs. She specializes in hard to fit contact lenses, dry eyes, seasonal allergies and ocular diseases.
When she is not in the office, she is spending time with her husband and two boys. Most likely, you will finder her outside skiing, boating or on the sidelines of her kids’ sporting events.
