Myopia Management Program
- Myopia is elongation of the eye that causes nearsightedness.
- Myopia also greatly elevates the risk of developing ocular diseases like Retinal Detachment, Myopic Maculopathy, Glaucoma and Cataracts.
- Myopia Management permanently slows the progression of myopia in children. This creates permanently smaller prescriptions and lifetime reduced risk of vision loss.
- There is a limited window for this treatment to be effective and must be utilized during a time when the child’s eyes are still changing. The earlier the intervention the better.
- Myopia Management Program does not include hardware or medication. Read More
- 2nd year and beyond is a $200 annual fee in addition to an eyeglass or contact lens examination.
If you are ready to help your child avoid myopia progression, call us to schedule a consultation.

Dry Eye Treatments
Dry Eye Disease
Dry eye disease or ocular surface disease occurs when eyes don’t produce enough quality tears or the appropriate balance of tear components, leading to variable vision, ocular irritation, burning, and redness. This common, treatable condition requires proper diagnosis to manage symptoms and protect your eye health effectively.
Dry eye can be successfully managed via an individualized plan:
Treatments for dry eye disease include:
- OTC and Life style changes
- Thermal mask & OTC eye drops
- Prescription dry eye medications
- Restasis, Xiidra, Tryptyr, Miebo, Eysuvis, etc.
- In Office Procedures
- Intense Pulsed Light & Radiofrequency – this is the gold standard!
- Lid hygiene – Zocular Zest
- Low-light level therapy (LLLT)
- Lacrifill – a lacrimal gel
- Ocular Rinses – Rinsada
- Other options may be discussed as needed
IPL & RF
Intense pulsed light (IPL) in combination with radio frequency (RF) and meibomian gland expression (MGx) is the gold standard for dry eye treatment because they address the root cause, Meibomian Gland Dysfunction (MGD), by reducing inflammation and clearing blocked oil glands for long-lasting relief. They also simultaneously induces skin collagenases, which improves skin tone and appearance.
- We utilize the Inmode Envision instrument – one of the best IPL and RF duel platform devices for treating dry eyes.
The same technologies (IPL, RF, LLLT) that are used to treat dry eye and ocular surface disease are also extremely effective for treating hordeola (styes) and chalazia.
- The treatments provide heat to break up the stye.
- The treatments reduce inflammation and reduce the potential for recurrence of future styes.
Tixel
Stay tuned as we evaluate bringing Tixel into our clinic!
- Tixel treatment uses a heated titanium tip to deliver fractional thermal energy to the skin, creating microscopic channels to stimulate collagen production and improve skin texture and tone. When done around the eyelids, this novel 2-minute dry eye treatment reduces meibomian gland dysfunction, stimulates gland healing, and can be used on all skin types. This procedure is radiation-free, and the settings can be adjusted for no down time.
